Don't you just hate it when you miss your flight connection to New Zealand?  On the bright side, you have a free night at the airport and... 24 hours to kill. A nice clear morning dawns, there is a rental car desk in the lobby. Need I say more. 

Not a terrible haul for a couple of hours trackside - here are the best of them, mainly of an interesting westbound.
